A BIT MORE ABOUT G3 HUB TECHNOLOGY:
Featuring advanced M-Pulse technology for instantaneous power transfer and reduced drag.
Unlike traditional spring actuated drive systems, M-Pulse utilises magnets to actuate the pawls. This not only reduces drag but also improves reliabilty and ease of maintenanace. No more searching on the workshop floor for those tiny pawl springs!
G3 mountain hubs feature a 72-tooth drivering and offer 288 points of engagement provided by eight pawls working in two pairs. This ensures a precise 1.25° engagement angle and instant, rock solid power transfer.
Optimised hub geometry and angled flanges provide a more direct spoke path and reduce stress on the nipples. Tall flanges also maximise torsional stiffness. All this means G3 hubs are the ideal foundation for a strong, stiff, responsive and reliable set of wheels.
G3 hubs utilise Project321's own 6-Lock technology and can easily and quickly be converted to run either 6-bolt or centrelock rotors. All hubs come complete with a stainless steel threaded "No-lock" ring that allows you to run 6-bolt disc rotors.
Simply pop the ring off and you can mount centrelock discs.
This not only means improved strength and reliabilty for traditional 6-bolt rotor mounting but allows complete flexibilty on rotor choice on a single pair of hubs. All G3 hubs come complete with the 6-lock mounting system and hardware.
A fully anodised 7075 axle combined with two double row bearings at the high stress points and fine pitch pre-load adjustment means long lasting, super smooth rolling performance under even the most demading riding conditions. 10 year axle warranty.
A new two piece drive ring seal keeps oil in and grime out by means of a new light contact, low drag rubber seal and aluminium dust seal.
Project321 hubs are designed for maximum compatibillty and flexibilty with easy drivetrain and endcap conversion. Easily interchangeable freehubs are offered in Shimano HG, SRAM XD and Shimano Microspline and universal endcaps and bearing configurations across all drivers and axle sizes means you won't need specific bearings or endcaps for particular drivetrain setups.
Project321 offers total colour customistaion across 12 colour options allowing you to mix and match hubshell, endcap and 6-lock colours for a truly personalised look (Custom hubs are available to order so please check with us for delivery time and pricing)
